AI Toy Module for Smart Plush & Companion Toys

The EmotiToy AI Module is an integrated hardware solution developed for AI plush toys, AI companion toys, interactive dolls and smart robot toys.

It combines conversational AI, audio interaction, connectivity and expressive electronic-eye displays into one compact system, allowing toy brands and developers to build AI-powered characters without developing the complete electronics platform from scratch.

Conversational AI

The module supports natural AI voice interaction and multilingual conversation for global toy projects.

Depending on the target market and project configuration, the system can work with leading AI models such as GPT, Gemini, Doubao and Qwen.

It can be customized for different character personalities, languages, voices and interaction scenarios.

Expressive Electronic Eyes

Dual electronic-eye displays can be integrated into plush toys or robot characters to create more expressive AI interaction.

Different eye sizes are available depending on the product design, including approximately:

• 0.71 inch
• 0.9 inch
• 1.28 inch

Custom eye animations can be developed for different emotional states such as happy, sad, angry, listening, speaking, low battery, mute mode and other character reactions.

Audio Interaction

The module integrates the key components required for AI voice communication, including:

Speaker: 4Ω / 3W Microphone sensitivity: approximately -36.5 dB Voice input: real-time speech interaction Audio output: AI conversation, character voice and sound effects

The hardware can be installed inside plush toys while the microphone, speaker and electronic eyes are positioned according to the final ID and mechanical design.

Connectivity

The standard module supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connectivity for cloud-based AI interaction.

Depending on the project, different hardware versions can also be developed, including Wi-Fi and 4G configurations.

AI Hardware Platform

The system is based on the Tuya T5 AI platform with ARM architecture and ATOS operating system.

It supports:

This allows additional functions such as touch sensors, vibration feedback, buttons, LEDs and motor-control systems to be integrated according to the toy design.

Typical module configurations use a rechargeable lithium battery.

Standard configurations can support approximately:

Battery capacity can also be adjusted according to the final toy size, motor system and required operating time.
